This week we have been introduced to the role of the user, and how the space can influences their actions. Hill (2003) divided users into three groups: passive, reactive and creative users, passive users are predictable in nature, as they do not change the use of the design for any other purpose besides of what it was designed for; reactive users resort the order of physical components according to their own needs; creative users are creating a new use or gives existing usage a new meaning. In our design practice, we have added a curve handle to our milk carton(Fig.1), it could simply be a holding handle as a passive users for the little kid, a carrying component by inserting a band to hold on the milk carton on their school bag for their parents to use as a reactive users or anything else for the creative users according to their intentions.
